Carter A. White
Head of Aircraft Trading
Carter A. White has over 16 years experience in the aviation industry. At AWAS, he is directly responsible for development, implementation, and global expansion of the aircraft trading strategy. Since 2004, Carter has successfully implemented AWAS’ aircraft trading strategy for divestments of certain aircraft investments in its fleet and the acquisition of new investments, targeting transactions providing value-add to the AWAS leasing portfolio.
Prior to AWAS, Carter held the position of Senior Vice President Marketing for Transamerica Finance Corporation’s commercial aviation finance group where he developed and implemented TFC’s aircraft operating lease business in the USA, Europe, Canada, Asia/Australasia, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Carter began his career in commercial aviation finance with Sanwa Bank’s leasing company, SBCC, in their principal aircraft finance group. Promoted from Senior Underwriter to Director Syndications, he developed and managed SBCCs syndication programs for its commercial aviation lease and loan portfolios.
Carter graduated from Cornell College in 1991 with degrees in Business Administration and Economics.
